It’s wrong that posts from Timothy Snyder, Joe Trippi and NYT Pitchbot are only available on Twitter. I’d like to help their posts reach a wider audience.

I thought micro.blog would be an interesting place to discuss, because I think this site has the potential to act as a bridge between the various locked-in places. Manton has the philosophy that none of the other platforms have. It has a lot of APIs, and he has shown that he’ll support basically any useful API that comes along. So I figure once a tweet gets into this database, it can spread from there.

I’ve started threads on GitHub, and we’ve had some private email exchanges over the last few months. I think it might be interesting to try it out here.
