  Back in the early days of Drummer, Manton put together a kit to connect it to micro.blog. We wanted to see if people wanted to write in an outliner for his community service.

  I am going to try again to open up the editing side of OPML. It’s gotten pretty famous in RSS-land, but people don’t know there are editors for OPML. Drummer is one of them, its native format is OPML. And it can run scripts in JavaScript, so users can customize. And there’s a Scripts menu that works like menu sharing from Frontier days. I’m going to make an effort myself to start using Drummer to edit subscription lists and see what comes of it. I chose OPML to be the exchange format way back when, with the hope that we’d figure out what to do with feed lists as outlines.
